Hi,
As part of the transition to a 'paid' version of the application. The original HamSatDroid has been removed from 'Google Play' and replaced with 'AmsatDroid FREE'.
It has all the functionality of HSD and can now
- support 4/7/10 inch displays in landscape for the current satellite position and next two orbits - take the user location as a IARU locator
The requirement to access user email info has been removed (the original thought was to issue remeinders, but was never implemented)

On Google Play, HamSatDroid is gone but AmsatDroid search comes back empty. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
It might take a couple of hours for AmsatDroid to appear in the list (that's what the dev web pages tell me) :-(
The URL is:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.me.g4dpz.HamSatDroid

I did a search for "Amsat Droid" and was directed to Droid Sat (wrong program). Then I did a search for "Amsat" and was directed to AmsatDroid (all one word). Maybe that was your problem, or as David wrote, maybe you were just so "quick on the draw" that Google Play wasn't ready for you yet. But it is there now.

Any chance of getting a Windows RT version of AmSatDroid?

The problem with development for mobile platforms is that there is no commonality between vendors other than when doing a web based application. That's not viable for ASD as it's intended for offline use.
To do ASD for windows would be a completely new development, as would one for iOS.
I do cross platform ones for the day job and you can end up with the lowest common denominator in terms of functionality.
