Season's best wishes all.
I have been trying to get some of DK3WN's software running and have an issue I have yet been able to resolve.
Behavior is the same on two different computers, one a laptop with Win10 32 bit and the other a desktop with Win7 64 bit.
The problem software is agw_online_kiss_plus.
I have registered (as administrator) the require ocx's as provided by DK3WN on his website and have installed vb run time libraries sp6 also as provided on his website.
the agw_onlinekiss.ini file is configured correctly (as far as I can tell). I have a small tle file (with two element sets) and satellite names do not have any spaces.
The problem encountered is that when I attempt to run agw_online_kiss_plus.exe I get a "Run time error '53' file not found"
No file name for the "file not found" is given. When I search for that error code i.e. 53 online I get references to a file called solver32.dll which is related to EXCEL.
I do not have Microsoft Office (i.e. word, excel, etc) installed.
Any suggestions?

Hi Graham,
download (right mouse button) this file http://www.dk3wn.info/tle/amateur.txt put it in the same directory as the program.
check that your agw_onlinekiss.ini is like this.
# # This is the ini file for AGW_ONLINEKISS plus v. 3.2 # # PORT = 127.0.0.1:8000 # MIRROR_COM_PORT = 7 MIRROR_COM_SETTINGS = 115200,N,8,1 # FILE_PATH = .\ # TIMEFRAMES = YES LOGFILE = YES PAYLOADFILE = YES # CALLSIGN = I0LYL # # use QTH height in km # QTH_LAT = 41.6740 QTH_LONG = 12.4985 QTH_HEIGHT = 0.28 # TLEFILE = .\amateur.txt

Lucio,
noted on the frequent updates to Mike's amateur.txt file.
I did some testing and figured out that the TLE file is sensitive to line endings - the file needs <CR><LF> otherwise I get the "file not found error".
the amsat TLE files that I tried and all had problems had only a <LF> for each line end.
satellite names with spaces do cause issues too.
the agw_online_kiss_plus program does not seem to sensitive to the TLE file name however and everything I tried worked.
