Word of warning: DON'T USE IT!! It can really screw up applications. In the case of N1MM+ that has a file in the Documents folder on your C: drive it will automatically back that up unless you are very careful. I've gotten myself in a real bind now with N1MM+ and maybe other apps but so far no problems with others yet....And it seems you can't reverse it once OneDrive has associated files with it. It's a real mess and Microsoft are real crooks to set something like that up as it also fills to free capacity limit quickly and then of course you have to pay them more $$$ to have more backup space.
I've reached the conclusion that both Apple and Microsoft are crocks! I wish I knew enough about Linux as I'd move my shack to that if possible.
73 to you both.

The Microsoft issue is easy. When you switch on your computer, don't log on to the Microsoft servers. Set yourself up on Windows as a local user only.

Better yet go to Setup/Apps and uninstall OneDrive. And/Or go to Task Manager (Right Click on the Task Bar/Select TaskManager) Select Startup Tab from the menu and look down the list and disable OneDrive. You can also look for the OneDrive icon on the Task Bar, right click on it and tell it to go away.
OneDrive actually works great for some things. I'm a writer and I save my projects on OneDrive so I can move locations and always have the latest. I also have projects on my Mac Mini M1 and for those tasks I save to iCloud for which I pay $0.99 a month for 50 Gb of storage. I can also easily access OneDrive or iCloud from either operating system. So think about -- is Apple a crook for giving me plenty of space to do my work for such a tiny fee?
There are lots of configure options for OneDrive. It can be setup to only backup the directories you want.
So I would suggest it is better to understand technology than condemn it.
