"Moon Day "satellite passes.
I and some other local DFW area AMSATers are manning a table again this year at the Frontiers of Flight Museum's "Moon Day" event, Saturday, July 16th, commemorating the flight of Apollo 11 and a lot more related to astronomy and spaceflight. We still could use an extra volunteer or two to man the tables and show off the Cubesat Simulator and other toys. The Museum is in Dallas, TX, EM12.
We will do two satellite pass demos during the event time. AO-91 which has a AOS of about 1630Z with an 80 degree Max Elevation. We will also try a PO-101 that has a 2015Z AOS but only a 19 degree elevation. Might be tough with the building getting in the way.. Virginia Smith, NV5F will most likely do the honors. We hope to have some Museum visitors in toe so give her a call on those two passes please do try and call her and do a good show for some hams and maybe non-hams alike.
Thanks in advance.
