Backwards TX/RX with SATPC32 on IC-9700
Hello,
I am new to satellite operation, having just installed SATPC32 on my PC for my IC-9700. I am using the latest document : "Amateur Satellite Frequency Guide" from AMSAT dated May 2023 for my data. The attached image CAS-4B and SATPC31 Display shows that the data sent by SATPC32 to the IC-9700 does not match the satellite data. One its is backwards and two, the data itself is not matching here. Do I have something setup incorrectly on the software or in my IC-9700, ? If so, what do I need to correct.
It appears to me that the RX and TX frequencies for the satellites are backwards on the IC-9700 as set by SATPC32. The bands are switched for Rx and Tx. SATPC32 shows DOWNLINK as 145.925, and TX Uplink as 435.277 right now on its top data line. YET the IC9700 is getting sent as RX on 435.650 MHz (top of display) and TX on the bottom of the display it shows 145.990 with a "TX" indicator next to it. So it's backwards, RIGHT?
I see the same issue of backwards Rx and Tx on the IC-9700 on these other Satellites set by SATPC32: AO-73,
Then: AO-91, The Data on the display CAT Tuning shows "145960/435250 FM/FM" which matched the AMSAT data. If I click "Execute", I get and Error "Please, enter a valid RX frequency". Why? When I click OK on that error, and then click on "Continue" the rig does show the correct Rx and TX data settings.
On AO-109, there is NO FREQUENCY data on the CAT Tuning, Does that mean that the Satellite is missing from the nasa satellite data file?
Thank you for the help, and if anyone wants to call me and walk me through my errors and fixes, just email separately to wb4ktf@pipeline.com (mailto:wb4ktf@pipeline.com)
