I'd like to point out that the cables may look the same but when tested you may be surprised at the results.Having looked at a number of different cable I have found a big difference in performance. After sweeping the cable over HAM bands the SWR can run from 1.5 up to over 6 to one .Suggest if possible be for installing terminate and test over band to be used. Make sure the load on one end is 50 ohms over that band as test results will only as good as test equipment used.Jack WA1ZDV

Good idea Jack the cable is a RG-389/U with green army type connector/ N type adaptor and it will be tested with a bird on a microwave dry dummy load.
