SATPC32 Error Code 1925
On two of my windows 7 computers I have not been able to install SatPC32 because I get the error message that I do not have administrator privileges. I only have one account on these machines and it is an administrator account. On other machines I do not get this error message. Do you know what causes this error and how to work around it? I have been told to right click on the setup.exe file an run as an administrator, but that option does not appear on my computer. Using latest version of SATPC32.

to run the setup program under Windows 7 right click on the file name "Setup". In the list that opens choose the option "Run as administrator".
You need to find the file itself using windows explorer. It will be in a folder called SATPC32 normally under program files. If you do not have the option then when right clicking, try holding the shift key while right clicking.
Another option is to right click and change the properties and under privileges/compatibility or similar try choose run as administrator.
E.g.: Navigate to the program folder of the program you want to run. ... Right-click the program icon (the .exe file). Choose Properties. On the Compatibility tab, select the Run This Program As An Administrator option. Click OK. If you see a User Account Control prompt, accept it.

Another option is to simply log in as the user "Administrator". Even though your current user has administrative privileges Windows-7 and greater has reserved some of the underlying properties from all but the official built-in "Administrator". It comes generically disabled.
To enable the built-in administrator account, follow these steps: Click Start, type cmd in the Start Search box, and then press Enter.
Note If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator. When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue. At the command prompt, type net user administrator /active:yes, and then press Enter. Type net user administrator <Password>, and then press Enter.
Note In this command, <Password> represents the actual password that you want to set for the administrator account. Type exit, and then press Enter. Log off the current user account. Michael KC4ZVA Sent from my iPhone
