I can confirm that 100% of the bid will go to AMSAT (as I manage the eBay/MissionFish account for AMSAT) but I am not sure if the bidder gets the tax deduction as it is the seller that is donating the money to AMSAT.

Bruce - Didn't mean to cast any doubts regarding AMSAT. But when it comes to IRS matters, I always refer folks to THEIR OWN tax professionals (grin).
