I am using HRD for my rig control and would like to ask, if the Keps are being loaded into HRD yet for the new Sats? If they are what are they called? I have tried to load the keps by hand but I can't seem to get this to work. I am sure it is an operator problem. I posted a question on the HRD site but didn't het much help over there. Mary,
I suggest you ask which Keps files contain the new sats. Sorry you didn't get an answer - I am buried with coding a new logbook at the moment.
You can always save the TLE Keps data to a text file and load this file in to HRD.

Yep I was right. The operator is the problem. HE (not she) has no idea what file needs to be loaded and where. I edited the text file in HRD but that heems to have no effect at all.
All the new coding is good but will the old/new stuff ever get fixed? The new sat tracker has problems but then I am just a user not a "Power User" so I may not know how to use it. Lets see maybe the help file covers that. Ow there isn't one.
Yes, the new sat track will be fixed, starting March 2009 I hope.
The IC-910H doesn't work, there are other problems as well.

Try this.
First, from the tracker, go to Satellite and then Kepler Data. Select Add URL, and then put in this:
http://celestrak.com/NORAD/elements/tle-new.txt
Check it, and then download the data. It will include the new birds with names like 2009-002A, which is equivalent to Object A.
Now from the main tracker screen Select Satellite Defs. On the left, you should see Sources. Click on tle-new, and you should have all the new satellites available. You can then define the frequencies.
Hope this helps.
