Wondering if XW-1 was launched. I saw that China has just launched the Yaogan 7 Remote-Sensing Satellite. The launcher, orbit, etc looks right and is pretty close to the previously stated 20Dec data. Any updates out there? 73 Mike WA6ARA

Not quite yet. The Yaogan launch was from a different facility and on a different vehicle. I have seen a few posts on space forums rumoring that the launch may be next week sometime. It is supposed to launch on a CZ-2C from Taiyuan.
