I thought I had found the problem with my old 5400 EL rotor when I discovered shorted wires at the terminal due to those awful old screw type terminals. Unfortunately after installing it the summer QTH I found that EL rotation worked only in one direction. I could use some help trouble shooting this as it could be in the control box or at the rotor and I have no manual with me. It could be that I'm off the air this summer in terms of satellite operation.
