Is it too much to ask for just a little bit of accountability for projects that exist as a result of public donations? If any organization can't do that then they shouldn't solicit donations. It is really a very simple concept. One shouldn't get their head snapped off just for asking the question about the status of a given satellite project!

AMSAT is a volunteer organization. Are you volunteering to fix this accountability problem?

Wayne: My problem isn't with AMSAT-NA, mostly with the DL folks. Kind of difficult for me to volunteer for that position from the US. But you miss my point. There are people on this board who go into attack mode when someone simply ask for a little status update. Funny, I just like to know that my contributions are accomplishing what they were intended to.
Usually the NA folks keep us fairly well informed. I keep hearing that launch cost are the biggest hurdle. If that is the case then someone should simply tell the Satellite community what would be a suitable target launch opportunity, how much money is needed and as we progress, what the delta is. Seems that I remember that occurred with AO-40.
