Is Lora a candidate for satellites? How well does it handle doppler? Given that it uses CSS(Chirp Spread Spectrum), it is claimed to be resilient to doppler shift.
Does anybody have any further details or knowledge? My understanding is that the RFM22B didn't use LORA protocol as used in the $50 sat.
I'd appreciate more details. We are trying to evaluate a radio technology that is widely and cheaply available to be placed into a cubesat.

Lora is a cell radio replacement for IoT, so it is supposed to rely on some form of infrastructure. I don't know if you can implement a point to point connection (I suppose this is what you want to do) without incurring in license problems.
