Re: NZ5N on this weekend from Jamaica FK18
Thanks to all who wrote with ideas as to what may be wrong with my Orbitron pass calculations. Here is what I am showing for the remainder of my stay, and they now seem consistent with the AMSAT page. I'll give it a try at 1100.

I've been using Orbitron but I see it is not matching the times on the AMSAT Pass Predictions, so you must be correct. I have downloaded fresh info with Orbitron's TLE Updater so I'm not sure what's wrong, some type of issue with the program or what.
I'll try AO-51 tomorrow morning using the times on the AMSAT page.

Hi Bill,
Check your times and passes. According to my
program,
the first pass hit you at 0540 (1140utc) and was long gone when you listened at
6am.
Also, the next pass of A0-51 totally missed you to the west. Someone else might want to verify my findings.
73 to all, Rick WA4NVM
I was on this morning for the AO-51 passes at 6am and 7:40am local time but did not hear the bird at all. Guess there must be some problem with my HT or the Arrow antenna. Sorry, folks.

Jamaica this
weekend. It's a business trip so I can't predict
when
I'll be on, but arriving Friday afternoon and
leaving
Monday
noon. Please send s.a.s.e. if you work me and
want a
QSL, or use LOTW/eQSL.
