Hi all, sorry if this question has been asked lots of times, but I cannot find a reference for it, but are all the current satellites using RHCP for 70cms, be it Uplink or Downlink? regards Gus M0IKB
Gus
It's in the weekly AMSAT satellite report. I will send to you offline...

Hi Gus,
Besides what the antennas are, electrically, there's also the orientation of the satellite as compared to you to consider. Because of this, it's best if you can have a switchable antenna. Last night we were having a nice round of contacts on AO-51, and the signal started to go into the tank. Odd, given the elevation and direction of the bird, it should still be in plain sight. One flick of the switch to LHCP, and she was full quieting again. Made another contact that I wouldn't have been able to, if I didn't have the the switch.
