Hi Folks,
There is a planned ARISS school contact tomorrow with a school in Germany at 0955 UTC onwards. Tomorrow I am supporting our local ARS public open day, and will try rxing the downlink (in German).
Does anyone know if I can rx the uplink somehow, eg via ECHO link??
Grateful for any advice

Described at the moment at http://www.ariss.org/upcoming-contacts.html It's not a telebridge contact so it can be received in Northern Europe.
The page above lists a ustream URL to follow things live, that will probably have the uplink audio as well and live video of the side of the school.
Whoever maintains that page at ariss cut and pasted the link to ustream from the arrl outlook web access so it asks me to login there.
Correct URL:
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/woehlerschule-iss
More on the website of the school at http://www.woehlerschule.de/ which suggests the language will be English. The ariss page expects German.
I hope someone records this. I have family plans so I can't put the whole setup outside to record it.

Downlink signals will be audible in Europe on 145.800 MHz narrowband FM. I have a copy of the questions and they are in German, so I expect the answers will be in German. Uplink will only be available by radio locally, or by ustream.

It seems the full ustream broadcast is now available at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/woehlerschule-iss
It's a 2hours 37minutes broadcast, so I don't know yet at which timemark in it the actual contact begins.
I switched on a HT somewhere during the contact and had short reception of downlink audio indoors (near a window). The ISS is one strong signal from space!
