Paulo PV8DX has spotted that the current ISS Work Plan at http://www.mcc.rsa.ru/plan.htm has a 15 minute slot allocated for SSTV operation on Friday, September 5.
Perhaps this is just a test of the system, maybe trying some different software settings to see if they can get some tones transmitted ??
If so let's hope it works.

This is a voice contact event and NOT a SSTV session. Translation of task info "Conducting sessions * amateur radio with the Center for Space Communications, St. Petersburg"

Thanks for the clarification.
The confusing arises because the "Name ATEC (goal, conv. Designation)" that the task is listed under is - "On Gagarin from space." Open transmission with ISS RS by amateur radio link to ground receiving stations amateurs around the world images of photographs devoted to the life and work of the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.
