Does anyone know what the conversion spec is? What input range maps to what output range? Seems like a most basic spec, but I can't find it anywhere.

Right, I got that part. But what is the input range? Does it cover DC to 100Mhz continuous? Down to 160 meters? AM broadcast? VLF? Sensitivity? Image rejection?
It's nice to know that it uses it has a PTC fuse on the USB port, but for an RF device, their top level description is lacking a lot of RF information.

I think I would want to go a little more than 100 MHz (maybe 120). The commercial FM station on 107.1 outs a BIG signal. 73,Jos kk0sd

The dongle with the 820T chip starts at about 12 meters and goes to nearly 1.7 ghz, so you can use the dongle itself (without up converter) for anything above HF. It will also receive FM stereo. ...Unless you are using the up converter with some other device.
