This message is for those of you who plan to fly into (and out of) the Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Airport for the upcoming AMSAT Symposium and Annual Meeting on October 10-12, 2014.

I've just learned that Southwest Airlines is now having a 72 hour "seat sale" (good until this Thursday) from selected airports in the USA into and out of BWI. That airport is very close to the October Symposium venue.

The "must fly by" travel period goes through February, 2015 and some of the seats are going for as little as $49 one way.

Our Symposium host, Frank Bauer KA3HDO, also indicates that tentative plans are now "in the works" for "some kind of a tour" on the Monday following the Symposium. So, depending on your availability and interest, you may want to book your flights to and from BWI accordingly.
