Question Fox Delta ST-2? Would like to find out more. Anyone using one?
Good morning all. I was looking to see what interfaces were available for the G5400B rotor. I'm not finding a lot off current information except for I find the Fox Delta ST-2 listed. Anyone using one? I know nothing about them and even less about what else might be around. If you're using one or have information about others that are currently available lets chat off the bbs unless it's been a long while since this topic has been chatted about and you think there are others who would be interested. Even in that case it might be better to take it off the BBS and got to direct emails within a small group as opposed to too much traffic about it on the BBS. Thanks, Mike KA7HBB

Hi Mike,
take a look at:
for the ERC-M system. Many folks are using them with great results. I have two of them working. You save the VAT on purchases and shipping is not that much. Unfortunately the LVB-Tracker from Amsat (amsat.org) does not seem to be available at this point.

Hi Mike,
I bought the 30.00 arduino uno at my local RS store and built this: http://blog.radioartisan.com/yaesu-rotator-computer-serial-interface/
I'm not a programmer but it wasn't hard to edit the software source code for the right features. I'll share my copy if you go this way.
The display was an additional 15.00
It works really well. Needs no mods to the rotor whatsoever. Glad to chat about it with you.
Thanks, Mike W4UOO
Btw You'll also need 4 resistors and 4 general purpose NPN transistors a project box to contain it, and the 8 pin DIN connector to fit the back of the yaesu control box. I had all of this on hand.

Hi Mike,
Not the ST-2, but I have been using a Fox Delta ST-1 for a number of years, and it has served well.

I have also been using the Fox Delta ST1 for about 3 years with no problems. Doug K9DLP
