For anyone interested in space propusion, there's a short introductory video on 'Euronews'
8 minutes in length, I thought the business end of the ion engine used for the 350kg moon orbiter Smart1 was quite neat. - Can be held in one hand!

.....nice this ion-engine David. I would like to imagine a future HEO for radio-amateurs with a propulsion like that and a... nuclear-battery with 30 years life-time.
No batteries, no arcjet - like P3-phase... they were always the source of our problems.
