Fw: Re: LVB Tracker and HRD Sat Tracker setup Problem
The G6LVB unit also works great with Orbitron and the Wisp driver. RoD KD0XX

Hi Marv,
I don't think that HRD supports a control box in either EasyComm or GS232 modes yet, so the LVB Tracker isn't going to work. It is still in the "developmental" stage as I recall. So, you probably cannot get it to work right with that program...
So--you might want to check out SatPC32. It's a super program, and if/when you register, ALL of the money goes to AMSAT!

I got my LVB Tracker box today and while going through the setup I have
found a
couple of things. To start off. I am using HRD 4.1 B2055, Sat Tracker 4.1 B 2019. Radio is a Kenwood 2000 Rotor is the G-5500 In the rotator set up of HRD there is no option for the GS 232B so I have
no
control of the ELEV. I have looked thought the other posts on HRD site but cant seem to find any
talk of a fix for this. I have check the com to the rotor and can move them by hand just fine with
both
the GS 232 & EasyComm. Can someone point me to the right area to fix this problem please. Thanks Marv N0FJP
