Is there a wattmeter element that covers L band (1.2ghz) for the Bird 43 wattmeter???
I checked out the Bird web page but couldn't find anything for the model 43.
My Bird 4304 only goes to 1ghz...can I still make accurate measurements on L-band with this meter???

Hi Joe, W2KJ
For the BIRD-43 I have the following elements:
Model 1k from 1100 to 1800 MHz 1 watt " 25 k " 1100 to 1800 MHz 25 watt " 435-12 from 1250 to 1300 MHz 500 watt
The latter is a special model with high directivity and specifically calibrated by BIRD for EME and I remember it was very expensive more than 10 years ago.
