Thank you so much for spreading the word, Pat! All are welcome and we are looking forward to this opportunity to share stories and memories about my dad. I'm sure hams have plenty of material! :)

Hi Bethanne,
Thank you for your long awaited message on the Bob WB4APR memorial service details.
While I am replying to you, I am also alerting the local AMSAT-DC group via our email list per your request. But I am not sure how active this list is currently. In fact, I have not received a post on it in months.
I will also include this reply on our WA3NAN Goddard Amateur Radio Club email reflector to make sure the word gets out locally.
With the ARRL Field Day exercise this weekend, I trust your invitation will be well received and shared with other local friends as well.
Each of our WA3NAN club members and our ham radio satellite friends have enough information in your message I am sharing (below) to contact you directly to answer any question and to RSVP.
May I speak for many on how much we miss your dad already — and how much we were looking forward to reconnecting with him once this wicked virus had passed. I am so sorry that cannot be the case at this time.
Thank you again, and may God bless you and your dearest family many times over.
Please call or write again any time.
Sincerely,
Pat N8PK n8pk@amsat.org

Hello Pat,
We've made plans for a memorial service for my Dad: please see the text below. Could you please forward this message to other local hams? Thank you!

Bob's family would like to invite you to celebrate Bob's life with us at 2:00 on Saturday July 16, at the Annapolis Friends Meeting (351 Dubois Rd Annapolis, MD https://www.google.com/maps/search/351+Dubois+Rd+Annapolis,+MD?entry=gmail&source=g). The service will be roughly one hour, followed by a casual reception. Bob treasured his relationships with hams all over the country and the world throughout his life.
The family would like to respectfully ask, in honor of Bob, whose immediate cause of death was heart damage from COVID-19, that attendees please be masked and, if medically possible, vaccinated. There will be light refreshments at the reception for those who are comfortable with that, and careful. Thank you for your understanding.
If you are thinking you might come, please tell Bob's daughter, me, Bethanne, as soon as possible (bethanne.ab@gmail.com) so that we can plan seating accordingly.
Thanks, Bethanne

Because of the distributed nature of Bob's friends, it would be nice if someone could get the memorial service online, or if that can't happen, we could have an online wake of sorts.
Thanks
