So I had a very long pass on AO-7 this afternoon, and I noticed two things that I have never seen before: I had to lower my MKIIG down to "L" so as to not blow out the transponder, and even that seemed too high (2W out, 50 ft of RG-8X, M2 Leo Pack). Everybody sounded weird and the CW qsos going on seemed to be suffering from a ton of drift. I had just listened in on CAS-4A previous to this pass and heard no problems there... so I don't think it's my station. Did anybody else experience this? Or is my $20 RTL dongle finally ready for the bin?
