Hello,
Newbie questions:
Have SATPC32 running on desktop, Amsatdroid on Android phone.
Dl same KEPS, Using EXACT same GPS coordinates but AMSATDROID has passes up to an hour off of SATPC32 depending on bird.
Example: AO-92 next pass SATPC states 17:57 AOS w/Max EL of 27 deg.
AMSATDROID: States 16:28 AOS w/Max El of 20.5 deg
What am I missing?
Thanks

Kirk,
Not familiar with the Android program, as I'm an iOS guy, but double check your latitude and longitude in SatPC32 and make sure that the longitude is entered with a minus sign in front of it for western hemisphere. You should see the little white + over Minnesota. FWIW, the next AO-92 pass for us begins at 02:09z (21:09 local). I don't believe either of the times you got was correct for the last one (AOS at 17:05z by my reckoning). Give me a call if I can be of help. -- Mark D. If I remember correctly, you can set your grid square or get it from GPS in the options/preferences of AmsatDroid. I would check them out to see if it got set via the manual method.
I would suggest trying ISS Detector on Android, I have removed virtually all of the other tracker applications from my phone.
