LilacSat 2 transponder not on at 11:50Z 8 OCT 15
Went out with my arrow antenna for the 11:50Z pass of LilacSat 2 and heard the carrier with tone every 30 seconds but the FM transponder was not turned on. Rick WB3CSY

Yes, I can report the same from Texas. This seems to concur with previous hours' reports on http://amsat.org/status/

I heard no downlink during the pass here in DO33 which started just before 0200 UTC. There's another pass coming up in less than 2 hours from now and I might try that, weather permitting.

Posts here and on amsat uk indicated transponder is only active Mon, Wed and Fridays

In the early days it was on for 24 hours after the Mon, Wed, and Fri turn on. I worked it in the morning after the "turn on". I need to look at my log but I am fairly sure that did happen. Rick
