Spotlight? More like in the gun sights.
They'll use the ill-placed GALILEO signal as a means to evict amateur operation in this band, then sell it to the highest bidder.

Looks like Tausat-1 will have a U/V FM transponder. The IARU site says that a downlink of 436.400 MHz has been coordinated, but that must be for the telemetry. I can't find any info on the frequencies for the U/V FM transponder. Does anyone know those frequencies or know where to find them? Also, some of the documentation seems to be describing a V/U FM transponder (or am I getting my uplink and downlink confused?). I just told Steve privately, it took me hours to find and it was in another language. I just spent some more time looking and didn't find anything. At the time I found it, it said the uplink was 145.950 and that's all I found (and know about it). IT'S PROBABLY WRONG. -David, N9KT
