The Yaesu manual calls for six wires #20AWG each.
I recommend Wireman #311 6 conductors 18 gauge, PE jacket. Remember you need two... one for AZ and one for EL. =^)

That is what I told him too. Good company that is where I purchased mine.
I also gave him KF7P.com in Salt Lake. He has lots of Grounding and handles Spider Rotors. Plus he is the grounding guru.
