Generate times for FD satellite passes
Can anyone recommend an easy way to generate a list of all satellite passes for a particular grid for a whole weekend?
I would like to pick a list of sats, a grid and a date range and get a list of passes for that time I can print out.
I can do it for a single sat and paste it into a spreadsheet then sort by time but I hope that problem has already been solved.
Thanks

The quickest way is to use the Heavens Above website interface. You'll get a lot of chaff (satellites you can't work), but you can print it out and apply a highlighter to the passes of interest. Or you can literally copy and paste each whole page (24 hrs of passes) to Excel, and then filter as needed. I don't use the AMSAT predicts page much since it only allows you to select one satellite at a time. One issue with the Heavens Above web interface is that CAS-4A is excluded for some reason.

Computer programs SatPC32, Orbitron, MacDoppler, and probably others will do this. If you give me your grid square and what sats you want and the exact time range I will generate the list for you.

HamSat for iPhone has an “Override System Time” function in setting where you can pick the date and time. Easy to assume other phone apps do too. I would, however, suggest SatPC32 or Orbitron to make the predictions. Much more robust and you can create printable / saveable text files.

The easiest way is to use WinAOS, installed as part of SatPC32.

Thanks to all. I forgot about WinAOS.
That might be easier as I can select just the sats I want.
I will ask another question about resetting the saved window position as last time I ran SatPC32, I had 2 monitors.
Thanks,
Tom

Try http://amsat.org.ar/pass?type=fm & click print or print-preview.
Type can be either fm or ssb or weather or digital, or select wanted.
Will show next passes ordered by time for several days.
