Thanks for the info on others also having problems with the ISS packet digipeater. Thanks to K4KDR and KG4AKV. this confirms that I am not the only one experiencing problems. I also noticed that once the sat is no longer approaching that I cannot get into the digipeater and have trouble hearing it ..Evidently it seems to be the ISS antenna is no longer accessible from my location ?? Not to state the obvious, but just in case anyone on the list is just getting started, be sure to keep an eye on:
... to be aware of how long it's been since ANYONE has been digipeated & picked up by an iGate. I had a direct overhead pass today but heard nothing. It was very helpful to have ariss.net to let me know that it wasn't a problem on my end (THIS time!), but instead that apparently the digipeater is not currently turned on.
