What would it take to fix it?

Hi Nick,
I am guessing you are trying to do packet on 145.825MHz?
I am not that familiar with pcsat but this works for InstantTune so you could try it on pcsat:
1. Program 3 memory locations with TX/RX pairs as below: 145.820/145.830, 145.825/145/825, 145.830/145.820
2. set up pcsat for a micbutton receiver with 5 KHz step size
3. connect the micbuttons on the FT736 to your pc
4. set the memory pair to 145.825 and start tuning.
The micbuttons will click up or down based on the RX frequency and the TX will be set correctly via the memory.
You can use a smaller step size for better resolution if you have enough memories (I forgot what an FT-736 will do but it will do at least 5KHz.)
