DIWATA-2 FM-Voice+APRS
DIWATA-2 Philippines’ second microsatellite had been launched.
Cat# 43678 operates as UHF/VHF FM-Voice repetear and APRS Digi.
http://amsat.org.ar/pass?satx=diwata-2 shows times and Freqs.
Details: http://phl-microsat.upd.edu.ph/diwata2
Good luck if trying.

Thank you for the reminder -- there are so many sats that it's hard to keep up with all of them.
They mention the following:
------- Diwata-2’s Amateur Radio Unit (ARU) operates in two possible modes: FM voice repeater (FMVR) mode, and APRS-based digital repeater (digipeater) mode. The uplink and downlink of these modes are implemented at 437.7MHz and 145.9MHz respectively. ------
... and that the mode will depend on the "day of the week". Do we know which days are FM voice & which days are digipeater?

Hello Scott,
By http://phl-microsat.upd.edu.ph/diwata2 it looks that DIWATA-2 has a clever design.
Looks that will operate in both modes (voice and APRS), if data is received will honor data, if voice is received will honor voice, will be quite interesting to see how operates in real situations when both modes compete.
Looks that still is being commisioned, so should wait for the lucky first station to copy.

Hi Scott,
You're right about days of the week for operating modes, what confused me was 'telemetry transmission will be abruptly aborted when a voice repeating operation starts'
Will be wise to expect more information from the designers, to know operating schedules.
