I literally gasped out loud when I read this news... shocking to hear.

My best memory of Nick is working him from the Nevada desert on AO-7. I stayed late for the pass to work him. It was a struggle for him to hear me, but later when I found out why, I was so impressed. I had no idea he was using an Arrow INDOORS! Also, I remember some nice e-mails, one where he congratulated me on an award... Nick was a kind and gracious soul. He will be missed. RIP, Nick  73, QRT
