Greetings,
I am making preparations for the K9MOT Motorola Solutions Amateur Radio Club Field Day setup. I plan to operate the satellite station once again and give demos as I have done in the past few years.
Hopefully, I can get the gremlins out that have popped up during the past few FD's. I am interested in demoing packet through the ISS, assuming it will be in packet mode this year.
I know all stations are limited to one ISS contact. I am curious how many other FD stations are planning to make a packet contact and would it be worth the trouble?
See you on the birds at Field Day! Please give K9MOT a shout should you hear us. Have fun!

Hi to all.
Forgive my ignorance/lack of internet but, when is the FD?
At this moment ISS packet is the only way of satellite contacs for me here in FL11 grid.
Depending on the answer I can make a schedule with you and others...

Pavel,
Field Day is June 22-33 this year. See: http://www.arrl.org/field-day I know one year I heard some voice activity during FD. If there is no voice activity, then perhaps we can use it to make a packet contact.
The Motorola Solutions Amateur Radio club will be operating K9MOT from EN52. Let's see what the ISS will do once we get closer to Field Day.

Hi Adrian, thanks for the date and link,
I will be from time to time in the ISS packet passes, will be more often as we approaching the FD date.
I will be mainly in non-work hours (from aprox 2000Z-2300Z to 0040Z) and weekends, is anyone want to tests his setup with me prior to FD just drop me an email...
Last couple of passes I try to work with the ericsson radio feel like less responsive/sensitive, I think it's for the less power from the ISS.
Working conditions here is a J-pole for 2m with AH LDF-4 low loss coax to the radio and 20W, software Soundmodem from Thomas Sailer in Ubuntu 12.04 and Xastir.
