Hi all, Many of us are using USB to RS232 adaptors, mainly for connecting the station PC to transceivers CAT control, ROTOR controllers, and TNCs were needed.
Although it seems that most, if not all, of the software programs work well under Windows 10, and updated drivers can be downloaded for most of the hardware, relatively old USB to RS232 adaptors might have chip sets that are not supported anymore with drivers for above Windows 7 (i.e. Windows 8 and Windows 10). There is a utility to check the chip set version provided by the vendor. It is highly recommended to check before starting the upgrade :)
