Re: Antennas deployed on URESAT-1 (SO-120)
Dear Félix,
I presume that it is the satellite with which you can play chess as well? I had posted about it in 2023 (https://youtu.be/1Y1Vp_HjuAs) and had been waiting for the reports. I will not be able to play chess with it as my satellite setup is limited to a mast mounted, fixed Moxon Yagi and an IC 2730 FM only dual bander radio. I do rotate the Moxon Yagi manually intermittently during satellite passes (https://youtu.be/cYr6Bbk45WA), though I have to go on the terrace to do that and come back to the shack indoors!
I do hope to access the FM transponder on high elevation passes.
Congratulations on getting the antenna deployed.

Dear friends,
This is just to share with you all that URESAT-1 seems to finally have deployed its antennas. This has been shown in this information from Jan PE0SAT in Satnogs TR-8 thread:
https://community.libre.space/t/spacex-f9-transporter-8-2023-06-12-21-35-utc...
The telemetry shows: antennaDeployed : OK (Antenna has been deployed)
This seems to be corroborated by observations in Satnogs with common ground stations (thanks Tammo from Dwingeloo for this information as well).

Tonight we are going to try to activate the FM repeater and the amplifier. We keep you all posted.
The satellite has lots of FM voice records as well as SSTV images and CW greetings. Please share any you receive with us in X (@AmsatSpain) and/or [email protected]
Thanks a lot in advance,

Hi Jon,
Yes. URESAT-1 is the one with the chess game. The problem is that, with battery being low maybe the chess packets are not sent, but we can request them with commands.
This night we sent commands for activating the repeater and turn the amplifier on. If they worked we will try to send a chess move.
Thanks all for the support,
Félix EA4GQS
