A great opportunity for an across-the-pond SSTV QSO just went by and I was all alone for the entire pass. What a shame.

Dave,
The North East portion of the US had bigger problems than working a satellite today. Those that were not at work, were busy taking care of their property. We were enjoying a significant snowfall which was followed by what our forecasters call a Wintry Mix which consists of more snow, freezing rain and rain. It is a delightful game trying to figure out when and how often to clean up hoping that you do not end up with a sheet of ice on your driveway and walks. If you wait too long you have the fun of removing several inches of soaking wet snow which is a bit heavy.
We must speak to the chaps that control AO-51 and ask them not to let this happen again.

Let nature take it's course. The springtime sun melts the snow and ice which then runs down the drains.
