Just dropping a quick line to report that nothing has been heard ( Transponder or Dashboard ) from AO-73 during the evening passes over here in Europe. I just monitored the latest pass 2000 2015 hrs today Saturday 31st December and could hear nothing. I have posted to the satellite status web pages and other stations had also made reports for this pass and the previous one. I worked AO-73 this morning and it was active but observed very deep fading which I put down to the spin rate. Looking at the graph published the spin rate was now projected to be in the same ball part as when the satellite was launched and activated. Regards Ken GW1FKY
Thank you for your report Ken!
I will be investigating during the next pass over Europe and possibly rectifying the situation. Fingers crossed!
