Hi Grid chasers,
I had a very successful rover expedition to DN42 this evening and I even got to demonstrate the satellite operation to a guy who was hired by the city of Franklin, Idaho to eradicate the moles, boles and mice in the Franklin cemetary. He held the iPad and told me what direction to point the antenna.
I worked K8YSE/7, NR0T, W6GMT, W0DHB, W5CBF, W7SXM, WC7V, VA7VW, and K8YSE.
This was great practice and I'm starting to iron out the bugs in my operating techniques. I think I need better coax because I'm getting a little rf feedback. Better to work out the kinks now before the alaska cruise in August.
I will upload all contacts to LOTW when I get home.
