HTML and MIME in Amsat-BB digests
Since the transition to the new mail system, I have been seeing a lot of HTML code and stuff that looks like encoded messages in the Amsat-BB digests:
--_000_B3913BA665604DB29F3D399BE88B4D53princetonedu_ Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

I have been though the account setup menu but I find no box to check for "send mail in plain text". This was not a problem before the switchover to the new mail system. Is anyone else seeing this?

The Mailman 3 people have recently realized that they have not implemented a "scrubber" for digests.
See https://gitlab.com/mailman/mailman/-/issues/473 for the sad story.
A fix has been implemented, but there is no word on when it will be released. Consider using your e-mail client to sort amsat-bb messages as an alternative.

Check out the -BB FAQ page at https://www.amsat.org/mailing-list-faq/#02 https://www.amsat.org/mailing-list-faq/#02.
You can change your delivery mode options to “plain text digest"
