Has anybody built the open source V3 antenna rotor from the SatNOGS site.

They promote an open source ground station and link them up. They use a Raspberry Pi as the computer board and have a controller board that drives steppers or DC motors for Az and El.

Hi Mike - I’m about to start a build of the v3 rotator (though due to inexperience and time limits, it’s liable to be a long-term project). I’d definitely recommend searching through the forum (https://community.libre.space) for previous messages from people building them, and posting there if you run into any problems - the devs are always looking for ways to improve the project and it’s documentation.
Best, Hugh

No, but I have definitely looked at that project. I too would be curious if anyone has feedback.

I have all the parts except for these: https://8020.net/shop/33450.html. $5 a pop! The frame requires 44 of them; even at bulk prices https://www.ebay.com/itm/Blind-Hidden-Inside-Corner-Bracket-for-20mm-V-Slot-T-Slot-Aluminum-Extrus-New-/232641238869 those connectors take up the majority of the expense! When I get a minute I want to redesign the frame to not use those suckers.
