The Mexican Federal Telecommunications Commission ("CoFeTel"), Mexico's "FCC", announced today that hams in Mexico have been authorized the use of the 4B prefix for 2010, to commemorate both the 200th anniversary of Mexican independence and the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. With this in mind, maybe we will hear some of our Mexican friends using this prefix on the satellites throughout the rest of 2010.
