I am wondering how many Russian KOSMOS awards have been/were issued? Anybody have any info on them?
I was cleaning the shack up and after dusting off the walls, I noticed mine from 1998 with number 51-RS on it.
I know N1JEZ has one with a similar number on his. Anybody have any idea if they still issue the award?
Are they still issuing the JARL FUJI Award or the SA-AMSAT award and more? I might have some real dinosaurs here on my walls...

Well, I just checked the AMSAT web page which is where I should have started in the first place, and see that the SA-AMSAT award is still viable.. stuck my foot in my mouth as usual...

we did change from having the south africa award issued in south africa with their number to a U.S. issued number. if you have one of the original ones, i guess they are a bit more of a collectors item than the U.S. issued ones. i have number 17 of the original south africa issued certificates. they issued number 1-36 and then we started issuing them as US1 and are up to US169.
now go figure this one.... i have vucc satellite number 17. i have amsat's century award #21 and since 1977 when it was first started, we are only up to number 40.

Slightly higher numbers here Bruce...
VUCC Sat # 73 Oscar Century Award # 26
The SA award here is U.S.22 signed by Mike, WA5TWT

How do I get the KOSMOS award? I have a lot of confirmed RS contacts.
Is there a number on the Fuji Award -- Mine is dated March, 1995
Bruce is ahead of me in the S.A. Award, I have #22
In name I always liked the Sexagesimal Award, I have #103
But ZRO Test "Z9" #24 is the one I am most proud of!

Hi Joe,
I own the ZRO-Test "Z9" # 19 on OSCAR-13 Mode-B dated Nov 1, 1992 signed by WA5ZIB and also own the AMSAT Technical Achievent Award for the K2ZRO Memorial Station Engineering Award on OSCAR-13 with Z-8 Mode B endorsements and Z-8 Mode-L endorsements signed by W3XO on May 25 1991
It would be very interesting to ear from the other partecipants.I have a list of call letters for the Z9 Club Honor Roll uptodated to Nov 1992 with 21 calls for Mode-B and 5 calls for mode L
The ZRO-Test is the only one I am most proud of !

Hi!
Are they still issuing the JARL FUJI Award or the SA-AMSAT award and more? I might have some real dinosaurs here on my walls...
Both of these are still being issued. Bruce KK5DO takes care of the SA-AMSAT award along with the other AMSAT-NA awards, and the JARL still issues the Fuji award:
http://www.jarl.or.jp/English/4_Library/A-4-2_Awards/Award_Main.htm
You can look for recipients of the Fuji award, along with the other JARL awards since 2005, at:
http://www.jarl.or.jp/English/4_Library/A-4-2_Awards/award-data/data-index.h...
It looks like SQ9MES received Fuji award 120 in June 2011. I received my Fuji award in May 2009, after submitting my application to the JARL desk at Dayton that year. It's not numbered, but it appears to have been #110 based on what I see at the last link. A nice certificate, similar in size to the current VUCC award. The JARL representative at Dayton in 2009 even apologized that he didn't have any blank Fuji awards that could be filled in and given to me on the spot - something they were able to do with many of their other (more popular) awards.
