Are there any satellites still transmitting on Mode S?
I still have my Mode S setup on the tower from the AO-40 days, and to would be nice to check it out to see if it still works.. I guess I could go snooping for cordless phones in the neighborhood, but I'd prefer to check it out with something of a ham nature.

Not at the moment, but At least one of the satellites on the next Dnepr launch has a U/S capability.

Hi Bob...maybe someday we will have some mode S stuff...the last time was on AO-51 before the battery problems...I have a small portable -35dbm sig gen that I can use to play with my various downconverters and dishes. Yes AO-40 sobsob.
