I am looking for a simple software package that will simply allow me to follow the current orbit of a hamsat..."where is it now?"I do not need rotor/antenna control.Suggestions?Bob wa7dxzDm33

What platform? Windows, Mac, Linux, mobile, web?
This article was written mostly for mobile apps but it has Win, Mac, Linux, and one web recommendation at the bottom:

If anyone wants to add to it let me know and I'll add you as an editor to the wiki

Interesting that GPredict is not listed under Windows...

When I added gpredict to the wiki I was aware it worked in Windows but the official site had no mention of it on their download page. At the time I think I searched for Gpredict and Windows and probably saw the Sourceforge page with Windows builds but I wasn't sure if it was official and I was in a rush to publish so I just left it in the Linux section and didn't do anything else.
I now see the official website mentions windows in the header. I will add it under Windows too but perhaps the Sourceforge link should be added to the official website's download page.

You didn’t specify a platform. For Windows, this little free download works well: http://f6dqm.free.fr/soft/satex/en/satexplorer.htm
For iPhone see: https://amsat-uk.org/2013/07/24/free-ham-radio-satellite-tracking-app-for-io...
