Could be the "liquids" eg:the founders or the builders if you prefer can have a look at it. It seems at the first look to be a pretty cheap solution.
A suggestion! put a financing per board/module where the name of those participating in this per board/mudule financing can have their name fly on the satellite? It could be interrresting for each group to follow up the construction and testing of their choosen financing project?
When the kodack affair happen couple of year ago there was a rush of indignation in the amateur satellite community but as per some recent commenting it seems that the idea of a kind of space advertisement seems to be making progress.
I will not be too much worried if a satellite beacon sends "Virgin cell phone are the best" or the "Hooters meat balls spagetti is the best" call it the publicity beacon (in reference to an engeenering one) If this pay for the launch cost!
