I am looking forward to catching up with AMSAT when I go out to Hamvention next week. It is great getting back to in-person events. I am driving from the Boston area using just the power of the electron!

Unfortunately I could not drive to Hamvention in 1960 (I could not reach the pedals and no FSD yet) so I missed getting my own copy of this song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOqe0oouN2s

I did attend Hamvention at the Hara Arena a number of times in later years when I could drive and even helped with setup in the Ball Arena a few times. I missed some of the later "events", but can related to this song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OKd9pV5W7U

I like the new venue better. I missed the mud bowl year. I last attended Hamvention in 2018.

It seems like yesterday when I attended the 2019 Symposium celebrating the 50th Anniversary of AMSAT. I am not active on satellites currently. I thought I would get back to activity when I retired, but ended up consulting with my former company. I like to keep up on what is happening but have missed a few things since.

I hope everyone going to Hamvention has a wonderful and safe trip.
