I have never used this equipment, but have you tried resetting things like physical connections or done a computer reboot?
Are you using the AMSAT LVB Tracker? Does it seem to be working?

Possible that the centre wiper on the feedback pot has gone open circuit. Fairly common failure mode.

What type of controller are you using (I.E LVB tracker or the like)? Does the controller report the correct az/el information?
Can you talk to the controller? Or at least monitor the serial port to see if it's transmitting data?
Check the terminals on the back of the control box (az and el) 1,2,3 for +5, wiper arm (0-4.5 VDC wrt pin 3) and +5 return, respectively.
