How can I use these two simultaneously with an IC-9700?

1. WSJT-X for PTT control via CAT over USB/COM. 2. SatPC32 for frequency control via CAT over USB/COM.

In other words, two apps controlling the IC-9700 simultaneously via CAT over USB/COM when each is performing a different control?
